The Office of Grants Administration at Grambling State University serves as a center for collection and dissemination of information on funding opportunities. On a monthly basis, a newsletter is compiled that offers available programs and deadline dates.
To increase the number of proposals submitted by the university to outside funding sources, the Office of Grants Administration does assist University personnel and the community in finding possible funding sources

The U.S. Congress established the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program to stimulate technological innovation, utilize small business to meet federal research and development needs, and increase private sector commercialization. BACKGROUND. There are ten (10) federal agencies which participate in this program. The program is administered similarly by each of these departments. The U.S. Department of Education (ED) issues one (1) annual solicitation. The Phase I solicitation opens in late January and closes in early April.
