From the legacy of legendary college football coach Eddie Robinson, Sr., whose tenure is memorialized in a campus museum, the World Famed Tiger Marching Band, impactful research, or championship athletics, the world has become aware of who we are. It is continuance of our mission to become the premier HBCU that causes us to strive even further. For more than 120 years, our undaunted vision has been the pillar of institutional longevity. We are amazed by how far we've come and inspired by the promise that lies within what we can achieve in the future. We understand our why and know that it lies within each brilliant mind that walks our campus.
As we continue in our vision to be one of the premiere universities in the world that embraces educational opportunity and diversity, our core values are embodied in our Philosophy and Mission.
