Intercollegiate Athletics
The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Grambling State has 15 varsity sports and is a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), an NCAA Division I conference. Grambling State has won more than 120 conference championships.
Academic Affairs

 From classroom instruction, the registrar's office, and service learning to distance learning, accreditation, and continuing education, Academic Affairs provides educational enrichment to students, faculty, and staff.  


In collaboration with campus, community, and alumni partners, the Department of Finance helps guarantee that the university is financially secure to enhance the growth of our students, personnel, and overall institution.

Research and Sponsored Programs
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is the central point of coordination for all externally sponsored projects and the contact for all grants, contracts, and assurances. Our overarching goal is to provide comprehensive support to faculty and staff through the entire Project Lifecycle, from ideation to closeout.

With an aim to anticipate and respond to changing needs, Student Affairs advances the integration of curricular and co-curricular areas of student life, and  enhance students’ affective and cognitive development.
