Emergencies and After Hour Care

In the event of a Medical Emergency, call the University Police Department at (318) 274-2222 or (318) 274-2219 (twenty-four hours a day) and University Police will contact the local ambulance service.

If your problem is not a critical emergency, but you do need assistance after hours, do one of the following:

  1. Call or go to a private physician of your choice.
  2. If you live in a residence hall, consult a staff.
  3. Call or go to one of the local after-hours clinic.
