The Title III Programs office held its 2nd annual Title III Activity Highlights event on September 25, 2024 at the Nursing Student Lounge. This event provides activity directors with the opportunity to showcase their accomplishments and how their Title III funded activity has impacted the institution throughout the 2023-2024 grant year to their colleagues, deans, the university president, and cabinet members.

Quality Enhancement Plan's (QEP) Communication Facilitation Laboratory (CFL) Grand Opening was held on September 18, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. The CFL is located in Brown Hall on the first floor in room 119.

Customer Service Workshop " Practical Customer Service Strategies for Higher Education," with Angela Black  was held on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

The Grambling Summer Institute (GSI) was held on August 8, 2024 in the Office of Distance learning Conference Room (Betty Smith Nursing Building). GSI is facilitated by the Reaffirmation Initiative - The Leadership & Learning Academy, a Title III Activity. The Grambling Summer Institute provides an opportunity for faculty and staff to explore Academic Advising in an intense one-day workshop format.

Second Cybersecurity and Cloud Summer Workshop held from July 15-19, 2024, at Cybersecurity Lab, Room 277, Carver Hall. The workshop targets high school students with a GPA of 3.00 or higher and teachers the fundamentals of Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing with hands on Lab activities in: Linux Fundamental, Ethical Hacking, Windows Hardening Techniques for Securing Data & Cloud Security.

The MSN Leadership Development Workshop was held at the Betty Smith Nursing Building, Room 168, on June 13-14, 2024. The theme of the workshop was "Nursing Leaders: Making Effective, Results-Focused Decisions." Dr. Tyrone Burton, CEO of Passion Driven Leadership, facilitated the event.

The Title III Programs held its Mid-Year (Formative) External Evaluation from April 22-24, 2024. The purpose of the evaluation is to provide guidance and recommendations to activity directors on the achievement of activity objectives. The Spring 2024 Research & Creative Works Symposium theme/focus was “Health Disparities Research and Related Activities. "It was an opportunity for faculty, staff and students to come together, celebrate, and learn more about research and other scholarly works undertaken by GSU faculty and students during the 2023-24 academic year. Grambling State University’s Division of Research and Sponsored Programs held the Spring 2024 Research & Creative Works Symposium and Luncheon at the Betty E. Smith Nursing Building, Room 168.

As part of the Reaffirmation/QEP Workshop Series on March 14th 2024, guest consultant Dr. Natonya Listach shared knowledge and best practices in an engaging session which identified the critical impact effective communication has on career building and success.

The Reaffirmation Initiatives Activity, supported by Title III and coordinated by the Office of the QEP, organized an OpenStax/OER session on March 12, 2024, in the Nursing Student Lounge. The session aimed to foster discussion with Dr. Natalie Allen, who provided insights and recommendations on utilizing open educational resources across various academic fields.

Cybersecurity Hack-A-Thon held on March 1, 2024 in the TitleIII computer lab. The purpose of the event is to give students hands on experience in coding and enhance their computer skills.

The Teacher Education Title III Activity held a professional development opportunity focused on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). Guest speakers were Mrs. Chanelle Finley, M. Ed., LPC-S, and Dr. Nanthalia McJamerson, Ph. D.

The Earl Lester Cole Honors College Ideas and Books class hosted a Lunch and Learn with Ms. Hardison's QEP Common Read Discussion group. This was held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the School of Nursing Lounge. The group discussed Barack Obama' book - A Promised Land.

Title III Programs held it's Opening Workshop for the 2023-2024 Grant Year on Tuesday October 17, 2023 at the Nursing Student Lounge, Betty E Smith Nursing Building.

The Office of The Quality Enhancement Plan held one of its Fall 2023 Series of workshops on September 19, 2023. This workshop was sponsored by the Reaffirmation Initiative activity and targeted all faculty and staff across Grambling State University campus.

The theme of the workshop was: Excellence Elevated; Mastering Customer Service in Higher Education

The Title III Cyber Security & Coud Computing activity held Part 2 of its Cybersecurity & Cloud Computing Summer Camp from July 10 - 14, 2023. This camp targeted Caddo Parish high school students with the aim of garnering their interest in the fields and to increase their technical skills.

Title III Programs held its first ever Activity Highlight event at the Nursing Lounge, Betty E Smith Nursing Building on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.  Title III Activity Directors had the opportunity to present their activity highlights for the first and second quarters of the 2022-2023 grant year to the University President, Cabinet, Deans, Title III colleagues and Title III Director.
