Assistant Professor
Milisha Hart-Simmons is an Assistant Professor at Grambling State University. She completed both a Doctor of Philosophy degree (2017) in Mathematics and Master of Science degree (2014) in Mathematics at University of Mississippi, and she completed both a Master of Science in Teaching (2003) in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science degree (2001) in Mathematics with a minor in Physics at Jackson State University. She previously worked at Raymond High School as a mathematics teacher, Hinds Community College as an adjunct instructor, Jackson State University as a mathematics instructor and an ACT proctor, and Hardy Middle School as a mathematics teacher and a GEAR-UP Mississippi teacher. In addition, she was a graduate assistant at Jackson State University where she assisted with weekly workshops for mathematics teachers and tutored various mathematics courses. Also, she was a graduate assistant at the University of Mississippi where she taught College Algebra and tutored various mathematics courses.
