The Office of Strategic Communications and Marketing (SCM) is the central marketing and communication team for Grambling State University. The aim of SCM is to advance the brand of the institution through the strategic dissemination of meaningful content, insightful engagement with nascent topics, and the illumination of institutional success and impact for the purpose of inspiring enrollment and investment. Our approach focuses on uplifting the impact provided by the Grambling State University experience. Through branded marketing campaigns, social media, public relations, web development, brand education, and licensing, we support and uphold the Grambling State brand and identity – strengthening our uniquely curated voice.
Our daily aim is to tell the Grambling State story with intention and impact. When you engage with us, the questions we seek to answer will always focus on why we're doing it, who we're targeting, and how we will track or measure success. The role and scope of the services we offer use those imperatives as the guiding principle to introduce, inform or illuminate stakeholders about GSU. This is accomplished under two umbrellas:

Consultation and Support
|
Whenever possible, the preference is to start with a consultation. Rather than focusing first on the end product or the next event, we need to understand the big picture of the programs or services you offer and the people you reach. From there, together we can determine the best tactics and timeline for a particular project and can complete the appropriate project request forms.
