VITAE
A native Texan, Kim’s career started at the National Black Theater (NBT) in Harlem,
NYC under the mentorship of the late Tunde Samuels & Dr. Barbara Ann Teer. She has
costume designed shows for La Mama ETC (NYC), Theatre for Young Audiences (Anchorage
Alaska), University of Nebraska Kearney, University of North Carolina Greensboro,
& Millbrook Playhouse (PA). Select shows over course of career: August: Osage County, Eclipsed, Flyin’ West, For Colored Girls…When the Rainbow is Enuf, Night of the Iguana,
Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Stadium View, The 39 Steps, The Boys Next Door, The Fantasticks,
and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown among others.
