Campus Update | 10/20/21
SUMMARY
Classes resume today and counseling services for students, faculty, and staff will continue to be provided. Assisted by counselors from the University of Louisiana System, the GSU Student Counseling Center will continue providing sessions in small groups, virtually, and one-on-one settings.
Campus Living and Housing continue to conduct daily Wellness Room Checks and I.D. checks will continue at campus entry points.
Additional law enforcement support has been provided by the Louisiana State Police and is evidenced by their increased presence on campus. If you are in need of emergency assistance, please notify them or call (318) 274-2222.
STRONGER TOGETHER
“Stronger Together,” created by GSU student leaders (watch the video) has been embraced by the campus community and serves as the unifying theme for all engagements and outreach activities.

HEALTH CENTER HOURS
The Foster Johnson Health Center is open Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and 7:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Please call (318) 274-2351 during the hours of operation to schedule an appointment.
In the event of an emergency, please call University Police at (318) 274-2222/2219.

CLASSES
All classes (face-to-face, hybrid, hyflex, and online) have resumed effective Wednesday, October 20.
FOOD SERVICES
McCall Dining Center will revise hours of operation to 6:00 a.m. through 9:30 p.m. daily. Retail locations will remain open during their regular hours.
CURFEW IN EFFECT
A curfew is in effect from 9:30 p.m. through 6 a.m. daily. This will remain until further notice.
The incidents of the last week are under investigation by Louisiana State Police (LSP). Any information regarding the incident should be sent to LSP at (318) 345-0000 or GSUPD (318) 274-2222.
