CAMPUS ADVISORY: PARKING PERMITS REQUIRED
Student, Faculty, and Staff Vehicles Must Display Valid Decals
Beginning Monday, February 3, 2020, parking tickets will be issued to all students, faculty and staff vehicles which do not display valid university-issued parking decals.
On-Campus Vehicle Registration
To register a vehicle, all persons must show proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license.
Permits must be purchased at the Cashier’s Window or online in BannerWeb. The student parking decal fee is $11.00; the faculty/staff parking decal fee is $22.00.
Important Reminders
- On-campus students are not allowed to drive to class between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 pm.
- Commuter lots are marked with white paint
- Faculty/staff lots are marked with yellow paint.
Where Can I Park?
Commuting students should park in the designated parking lots for commuters as designated:
- On Dickerson Street, between Charles P. Adams and Woodson,
- On Cole Street, south side facing Charles P. Adams,
- On the front row of Charles P. Adams Hall, facing RWE Jones Drive,
- On the A.C. Lewis Memorial Library side,
- On Blalock Street, where the white paint starts behind the basketball court, and
- At the Performing Arts building, on the left side when facing the building.
Commuter lots are white and faculty/staff lots are yellow.
Parking Violators Will Be Ticketed
Tickets will be issued for the following violations:
- Parking on any lawn or grassy area,
- Parking in a “No Parking Zone,”
- Unlawfully parking in in an accessible parking spot, or
- Blocking a campus dumpster or walkway.
