Schedule Announced: The City of Grambling Celebrates Juneteenth
The Grambling State University community is invited to join the City of Grambling’s 2019 Juneteenth Festival, the oldest celebration of its kind in Louisiana. Families, supporters, and vendors will connect June 7 – 19 for a series of events that celebrates the announcement of the abolition of slavery to the last slaves in the U.S.
The City, local chambers of commerce, and others will celebrate the historical event with the following events:
