From Dr. Ponton: Resource Update – Student Affairs, Admissions, and Residential Life

Please note important changes below as our Division of Student Affairs continues their work in growing our campus resources for our students.
New Position: Dr. Rudolph K. Ellis, Associate Dean for Student Service
Dr. Ellis now provides leadership for our Student Affairs “service” units which include:
- Campus Living & Housing
- Foster-Johnson Health Center
- Student Counseling & Wellness Center
- Student Conduct
- SGA and GSA
- Student Transportation

New Position: Mr. Terry Lilly, Associate Dean for the Student Experience
Mr. Lilly now provides leadership for our Student Affairs “experience” units which include:
- Student Activities & Favrot Student Union
- Student Engagement and Leadership (Greek Life, Clubs & Organization, Hazing Awareness)
- Miss GSU & The Royal Court
- Intramural Sports & Recreation
- Cheerleaders and Spirit Groups
- Orchesis Dance Company

New Hire: Welcome Mrs. Tanisha Cousby
We are excited to welcome Mrs. Tanisha Cousby home Grambling State to take her post as our new Director of Campus Living and Housing. Mrs. Cousby is an alumna of our Psychology and Criminal Justice bachelors programs. She also received her Master of Science in Criminal Justice and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education here at Grambling State. She brings to our team 18 years of public and student service experience. She most recently served as Assistant to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs/ Director of the Student Union at Southern University and A & M College. Please be sure that you welcome Mrs. Cousby back to the Residential Life team as you visit Grambling Hall.
Unit Relocation: Student Affairs Welcomes the Office of Admissions and Recruitment
In addition, the Office of Admissions and Recruitment will join the Student Experience and Student Service units operating under the leadership of the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs & Dean of Students, Mr. Gourjoine M. Wade.
