Campus Security Update: Incident – November 28, 2018
GRAMBLING, LA – November 28, 2018 – This evening the Grambling State University Police Department was notified of a bomb threat called in to the Grambling Hall facility.
At this time, University officials can confirm the following:
- An “all clear” has been issued for Grambling Hall and surrounding buildings.
- Main Street and Founders Avenue in Grambling, LA have been reopened to all traffic.
- All campus academic and administrative offices will resume normal operations on Thursday, November 29.
- The Grambling State University Police Department will continue to collaborate with Parish and state officials to investigate the source of the threat.
- At this time, no connection has been confirmed to any other incidents at any other campus.
The safety of our students and campus community remain a top priority. Thank you to our State Fire Marshal, the Bossier City Fire Department, US Marshal, campus police and all other local agencies who collaborate to keep our campus safe.
