Enhanced Skills Training Program
The Enhanced Skills Training Program (ESTP) is vital component of the ARMY
ROTC. The program is designed to improve the military science cadet' in
reading, mathematics, and written English expressions, oral communication,
cognitive skills and logical thinking. It offers state-of-the-art educational
technology.
WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM OFFER?
Academic instructional and tutorial assistance is offered in reading comprehension,
technical vocabulary development, written English expression, oral communications,
basic algebraic expressions and mathematics.
TUTORIAL ASSISTANCE
Tutorial assistance is provided in each area offered in the EST Program
as well as the availability of computer skills and study skills.
COUNSELING
The counseling program provides the following services to ARMY cadets:
- Counseling and advisement to ensure academic success
- Assessment of individual strengths and weaknesses
- Monthly interviews and attendance reviews
- Testing to identify cadets' need for enrollment and placement in the program
