Three Grambling Lady Tigers were named to the National Tenpin Coaches Association Academic All-NTCA Honorable Mention Team
GRAMBLING, LA – Rachel Wise, Tabitha Nankya and Tafadzwa Chiridza of the Grambling State University women’s bowling team were named to the National Tenpin Coaches Association Academic All-NTCA Honorable Mention Team.
Wise is a native of Round, Texas, and a 2015 graduate of GSU with a degree in art education. Nankya, of Houston, Texas, also graduated in 2015 with a degree in engineering technology. Chiridza is a native of Tomball, Texas, and a sophomore majoring in computer information systems.
To be named to the Academic All-NTCA Team, a student athlete needs to receive votes in the All American voting at the end of the season. They must also have a 3.4 GPA for the 2014-2015 school year confirmed by their school. If a student athlete has received a 3.4 GPA for the year, they are listed as an honorable mention. The Grambling State University women’s bowling team
had an overall grade point average of 3.22 for the year.
The Grambling State University Athletics Department would like to congratulate these young ladies for an amazing honor.
