About Campus Living & Housing

The Office of Campus Living & Housing is committed to providing a living and learning environment conducive to student development. Our department distributes housing applications and processes room assignments for new and continuing students who reside in Grambling State University’s residential community. This community features nineteen residence halls, which provides accommodations for over 2,400 students.

A large component of the educational experience is learning to live and to interact with other people from different racial, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. To this end, students are helped to develop a growing sense of maturity and responsibility by participating in student activities within the residence halls and throughout the university’s campus.

This web page is designed as an introduction and as a guide for all residence hall students at Grambling State University. As you become settled in your residence hall, you should familiarize yourself with the contents of this site as it is a summary of the activities, services and policies that will govern you while you attend Grambling State University. It is our desire that many of your questions will be answered after a thorough review of this site. If you have additional questions, please contact our department at (318)274-2504. In addition, residence hall staff members serve as valuable information resources and can provide clarification and more specific information about the residence hall and campus affairs. Please feel free to address any questions to hall staff members.
